Porchlight Theatre Company of New York is an emerging theatre company founded on the principles of research, education,

and the creation of new works.

The mission of this company is to:

1. •Nurture the talents of emerging and established actors, designers, directors, playwrights, and researchers.
   

2. •Create new works that illuminate the American experience.
   

3. •Champion qualitative research methods, particularly performance ethnography, to aide in the devising and development of new works.
